How to: Change the desktop fonts.
Solution:
Double-click the 'Display' icon in the 'Control Panel' and click the 'Appearance' tab. Select the item, font, font size, and color.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)

3) Double-click the 'Display' icon. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)

4) Click the 'Appearance' tab.
5) Select the item for which the font is to be changed from the 'Item' drop-down list box.
NOTE: Fonts may be changed for the following items: Active Title Bar, Icon, Inactive Title Bar, Menu, Message Box, Palette Title, and ToolTip.
6) Select a font from the 'Font' drop-down list box.

7) Select font size from the 'Size' drop-down list box.
8) (Optional) Select a font color:
a) Click on the 'Color' drop-down list box to display the color palette
b) Do one of the following:
1] To select a standard color, select the desired font color, and click 'Apply'.

2] To select a custom color:
a] Click 'Other...'. (The 'Color' dialog box appears)
b] Do one of the following:
1} Select the desired color from the color palette.
2} Drag the marker to the desired color and value.

c] Click 'OK' to close the 'Color' dialog box.
9) Click 'Apply' to accept the new setting.
10) Click 'OK' to close the 'Display Properties' dialog box.
11) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Close' to exit the 'Control Panel' window.
